Seeking Innovative Assay Systems and Analysis Methods for Drug Discovery

Takeda Pharmaceutical are launching an open innovation initiative, inviting researchers to submit their ideas and technologies across five different focus areas, up to £60k / €70k / $100k (AUD). Summarised below are the interests of Takeda relating to Assay Systems and Analysis Methods for Drug Discovery. In the attached application form, each of these subtopics have been expanded upon to give further detail of proposals that would be within scope.

Submissions should be relevant to one or more of the following titles: 

  • REF #14 Clinically applicable methods to measure clearance of abnormal proteins from brain
  • REF #15 Research on cellular senescence in neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental diseases
  • REF #16 Novel drug target and biomarker identification targeting liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) for neuro-degenerative disease
  • REF #17 System development for isolation of tissue-specific extracellular vesicles with superior selectivity, yield and throughput to conventional immunoprecipitation
  • REF #18 Innovative approach to accelerate human cells and organoid-based drug discovery and development process

Global Eligibility: 

Only submissions from Europe and Australia will be eligible for this campaign.
