Johnson & Johnson is seeking novel, differentiated technologies with the potential to deliver superior safety and efficacy in the treatment of solid tumors. The primary focus is on solid tumors, with interest in platforms with potential applications to hematologic malignancies. 

Specific Areas of Interest Include:

  • Indications of interest include lunghead and neckbladdergastrointestinal, and colorectal cancers 
  • Clinical-stage or near-clinical-stage assets with first/best in class potential providing better solutions for patients 
  • Earlier-stage assets of interest include novel, differentiated tumor-associated or tumor-specific targets; conditional and logic-gated approaches (e.g., AND-gating or multi-input control strategies) across modalities; and cell therapies, including CAR-T platforms and assets

Out of Scope:

  • Opportunities relating to vaccines, gene therapy and personalized solutions

Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of reviewers on their ability to meet the following criteria:

  • Alignment with areas of focus 
  • Potential impact for transforming health outcomes for people living with solid tumors 
  • Feasibility of the idea or methodology and supporting data as a proof of concept 
  • Identification of key resources and a plan to further the idea 
  • Team quality and capabilities 

Selected applicants may have the chance to present their science to Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Oncology leaders during the World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul, South Korea, during the week of September 12-15, 2026.
