Header

A global pharmaceutical company is seeking novel technologies that enable efficient and effective discovery of protein drug targets with cryptic pockets. Additionally, the team is also interested in ligand discovery strategies to target cryptic pockets.

Approaches of Interest:

  • Technologies should identify or predict the cryptic pocket itself, with enzymes being of highest interest
  • Both wet-based and dry-based approaches to discover cryptic pockets with ligandable/druggable pockets are of interest. Dry-based approaches should show feasibility and reliability
  • Discovery of cryptic pockets in disease-relevant GoF or LoF mutation
  • High-throughput screening methods for cryptic pocket ligand discovery using small molecules and peptides

Out of Scope:

  • Research relating to GPCRs and ion channels
  • Opportunities that involve biologics, cell therapy, gene therapy and medical devices
  • Methods that use known information about the cryptic pocket to simply discover alternative binders

Developmental Stages of Interest:

  • All stages of research are within scope, provided there is proof-of-concept
  • Established or well-known methods in drug discovery field such as commercial software is out of scope
  • Regarding novel targets, novel assay systems or methodologies, data demonstrating their validity should be provided

Submission Information

Submission of one-page, 200–300-word briefs is encouraged, along with any optional supplementary information e.g. relevant publications. Our client is also open to novel research proposals which can be outlined using this submission form. In submitting to this campaign, you confirm that your submission contains only non-confidential information.

Opportunity for Collaboration

Our client is open to a range of collaboration opportunities, with the most appropriate outcome being decided on a case-by-case basis. Example outcomes include licensing assets, project/PhD funding, and research collaborations.

Please check your organization’s external collaboration policy and/or guidelines before submitting to this anonymous campaign, which may result in introduction and subsequent partnering discussions with the client company. Please get in touch with campaigns@inpart.io if you have any queries.
