STADA Thornton and Ross is seeking opportunities that help better understand, prevent and treat common skin conditions. Specifically, the team is interested in novel therapeutics that target conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, keratosis pilaris, acne, rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis.

Approaches of Interest:

  • Novel insights into these common skin conditions such as identifying new targets or therapeutic mechanisms
  • Opportunities that target or modify the skin microbiome are of interest 
  • Novel approaches to relieve the symptoms, treat and prevent common skin conditions
    • New application/understanding/repurposing of existing compounds
    • New combinations of active(s)
    • Formulatory approaches to deliver improved efficacy of existing products/therapies
    • Delivery routes – device/formulated product combinations
  •  New approaches to assess and validate product efficacy

Out of Scope:

Infectious skin disorders such as impetigo. 

Developmental Stages of Interest:

Opportunities at all stages of development will be considered, with those being close to a finished product of highest interest.
