Opportunity types being sought:

BSM Biotech Holding's mission is to support researchers, inventors and founders in the biotech space worldwide to found, build and grow biotech companies that have the potential to establish new standards of care. We are seeking innovative discovery research projects targeting neurodegeneration with the aim of working with the innovators behind the projects to form new companies based on this research. Projects should be under preparation for IP to be filed or have IP filed already, which allows for asset protection in the USA, Europe, and Japan as a minimum.
Approaches of Interest:
We are open to therapeutics that target neurodegenerative diseases such Dementia related disorders, Parkinsonism and movement disorders, Motor neuron diseases
All modalities are of interest, including mAb’s, small molecules, aptamers, bi/trispecific molecules and modalities regulating gene expression
All mechanisms of action and delivery routes are in scope
Out of Scope:
Cell and gene therapy
Medical devices, diagnostics, and nutrition
Drug repurposing and reformulation
Developmental Stages of Interest:
Opportunities that at minimum have a lead drug compound to late preclinical research are in scope
Opportunities that have in vitro validation are preferred, in vivo validation is also desirable

Submission of 200–300-word briefs and presentations summarizing the opportunity are encouraged, along with any optional supplementary information e.g. relevant publications, patent information etc. In submitting to this campaign, you confirm that your submission contains only non-confidential information.
BSM’s experienced management team looks to in-license discovery research targeting neurodegeneration, to fund them and spin them off into separate project-focused companies. BSM will closely collaborate with the innovators to capitalize on their know-how and technologies. Funding and support are available on a case-by-case basis, depending on the technology and development needs.
